The Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA) is the peak national body for strength and conditioning (S&C) professionals in Australia. The ASCA has thousands of members working at all levels of sport and performance, from grassroots to professional and Olympic levels.
This year, MX3 exhibited as the VIP Event Sponsor at ASCA’s flagship annual event, the 2019 International Conference of Applied Strength and Conditioning, held November 8-10, 2019, in Gold Coast, Australia.
At the ASCA international conference, we discussed all things hydration with S&C professionals and sport scientists from throughout Australia and around the world, including staff of top-level national and international Australian rules football, rugby, cricket and soccer teams.
Many of these teams still rely on urine measurements to assess hydration, so there was great interest in transitioning to the MX3 Hydration Testing System as a faster, simpler and more-convenient method of hydration assessment.
